About ZI Woodcraft
We design, make and install custom woodwork for homes in the UAE. Kitchens, wall panelling, walk-in closets, wardrobes and fine joinery, each one built for a single room.
Twenty-seven years, two countries, one craft
ZI Woodcraft is a custom woodwork company in the UAE that designs, makes and installs kitchens, wall panelling, walk-in closets, fitted wardrobes and bespoke joinery in its own factory. The company was founded in Canada and brings over 27 years of woodworking experience.
ZI Woodcraft began in Canada, where our founder spent more than 27 years working with wood. Those years taught a simple lesson: a piece is only right when it is made for the room it lives in. Today we have brought that same approach to the UAE. The maple leaf in our logo marks where we started. The work itself is what we carry forward.

Meet our founder
ZI Woodcraft was founded by Ziad Haj Abboud, a Canadian woodworker with more than 27 years at the bench. He built the company in Canada on one belief: a piece should be made for the room it lives in. He now leads ZI Woodcraft in the UAE, where every project still passes through his hands, from the first drawing to the final fitting.

We make it. We don't resell it.
Every piece we deliver is made in our own factory in the UAE. We don’t import ready-made units or sell from a catalogue. Each kitchen, wardrobe and panel starts as a design for your space, and is cut and assembled to the measurements of your room. That is the difference between a custom piece and a standard one adjusted to fit.
One team, from first drawing to final fitting
The same team stays with your project from start to finish.
- Design. We design the piece with you, around your space and the way you use it.
- Measure. We take measurements on site, so the design matches the room exactly.
- Make. Your piece is made to order in our factory.
- Install. Our team installs it and hands over a finished room.
What we make
Our work covers the rooms where woodwork matters most:
- Kitchens, designed around how you cook and gather.
- Wall panelling that adds warmth and depth to a room.
- Walk-in closets planned around what you own.
- Wardrobes and cabinetry built to the exact size of the wall.
- Bespoke woodwork for everything else your home needs in wood.
What we hold ourselves to
- Precise measurements. We measure on site, because a custom piece only fits if the numbers are right.
- Materials chosen with care. Each material is selected for the room it goes into and the way it will be used.
- A careful finish. We give the final surfaces the time they need.
- A clean handover. When installation is done, the room is left ready to use.
